The Celebration of the Real Afghanistan by JR  |  September 2012

JR wanted to celebrate hope and laughter in Afghanistan to contrast the horror and sadness portrayed in the media. By pasting portraits of the Afghan people, he shows outsiders what the real Afghanistan is like and helps Afghans celebrate their people and ethnicity and gives them hope for a brighter future.
