Artists 4 Israel

Founded in 2009, this group was inspired to show support for Israel. Their philosophy is that "artists’ rights equal the right of Israel to exist in peace and security." The group consists of singers, writers, and artists, and the street artists create pro-Israel graffiti. The media misrepresents Israel as simply a place of controversy; it doesn't represent the strength, beauty, and spirit of the people and their culture. Their art is meant to support and inform the public of the beauty of Israel and the freedoms there, especially artistic freedoms. Some of the street art also brings attention to the Israelis' struggles to defend their families and homes in a world full of violence.
